Yesterday my husband graduated from Sgt course and they had a graduation that little guy and I were planning on attending. My hopes were that I’d be able to get at least a few pictures of Brian getting his certificate and what not. Quinn was at preschool so I figured it would be a little bit easier to accomplish since I only had one kid with me. That wasn’t the case. It was super crowded, hardly anywhere to sit and so this is what we ended up doing during the ceremony….

Eating snacks, hanging out and…

and watching this guy be cute and entertain all the other people outside without a seat!

Oh well! Congrats Brian, I am so proud of all that you have accomplished in the Marine Corps and all that you do for us and our country (:

evie: Aww! I'm so sorry you guys didn't get to be inside for the ceremony! That really stinks. You did get some cute pics, though!!

Christina: Congrats (and many thanks) to Brian! At least you had adorable entertainment in lieu of the lack of seating :) Merry Christmas!

Angel: So cute! It was the same when my hubby graduated! I think they need a bigger venue! Seems you had an enjoyable time besides! ;)

Suze: Too cute! & a big congrats to your hubby! :)

I first photographed this family when Lindsay was pregnant, then a few months later when Maddox was a couple weeks old and Joshua was deployed. Now they are all together and were in need of some family portraits. This family is flipping gorgeous! And Maddox is one of the HAPPIEST babies I have ever seen. He was absolutely loving the camera. This was one of those sessions that makes me fall even more in love with my job!!

They are such a cute family!! I’m sure their next addition with be just as cute!! I love when I get a chance to take photos for a family multiple times. Last year I took photos on soon to be big brother “T” when he turned one! Then I took photos for them before Dad deployed and now he’s home again just in time for their next child to be born.

Now he’s 2 and such a little sweetheart!

This weekend my husband tagged along and took pictures with me during my session with Mike and Allison! We had a blast!! They were such a fun and easy going couple and I had a lot of fun with Brian being there too. There are a ton of great husband and wife photographer teams whose blogs I follow and once Brian started doing photography with the Marine Corps I immediately hoped that one day (after the Marine Corps) Brian and I could team up all the time as well.

They brought along their dogs Koby and Milo and they joined us for some of the shots!!
